Automatic Vacuum Cleaner Above Ground Swimming Pool
Are you looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner to keep your above-ground pool clean? Our Automatic Vacuum Cleaner Above Ground Swimming Pool has an automatic reverse direction to clean the whole pool floor, has a small brush below its cleaner base that sweeps the floor, and debris is blown into the debris net inside the pool cleaner by the water pressure jet.
Automatic Vacuum Cleaner Above Ground Swimming Pool

Features

Durable - The vacuum cleaner is made of durable materials and is compact and lightweight to keep your above-ground pool clean. It requires the use of a filter pump with a flow rate between 1,600-3,500 GPH and is not suited for in-ground pools. To avoid poor pool cleaner performance, clean the skimmer baskets on a regular basis.

Easy To Use - This above ground pool cleaner uses venturi suction to keep your pool's bottom clear and clean for a spotless look. Attach this automatic pool vacuum to your existing filter pump 1,600 - 3,500GPH and this little workhorse will do the rest.

Versatile - The automatic cleaner is perfect for pools 24ft in diameter or smaller, with a 21-foot hose that connects to 1-1/2-inch hose fittings. The cleaner automatically reverses direction to clean the whole pool floor. Sunken leaves, dirt, sand, gravel, and other materials are no match for this powerful vacuum.

This automatic pool cleaner really, actually, and incredibly works. It's fun to watch it randomly scuttling about my pool's floor. In an hour it had covered every square inch, and my pool was spotless!

Works great!!! Hooks to water RETURN not suction side of pump. The filter screen in this thing even trapped sand. I love it! Ran it for 4 hours, cleaned the vacuum screen twice and it cleaned the pool great. This size pump zooms the vacuum around the pool. GREAT!

I didn't take my automatic vac cleaner easy set pool down last winter because it's so hard to level the ground every year and I'd had surgery right before winter, so it just wasn't plausible. Anyway, I figured that if I drained it this spring I would have no issues cleaning it. Wrong. There was dead algae and other gunk I couldn't clean out of it myself, so I filled it back up and decided I would vacuum up all the crud. I purchased the 1600gph sand filter (I have the 15ft, 42in deep pool) and tried to use a pool vacuum hooked up to that, but it kept shooting all the algae back into the pool and would lose too much water if I unhooked the water inlet hose. So I started looking online again and was thrilled (but skeptical) when I saw this. I was intrigued at the idea of it using this, meaning I wouldn't have to deal with the thing clogging or losing suction. Most vac cleaners like this usually only have a lifespan of a year or two, but at cheap cost, I decided it was worth it. My only other option was going to be buying a whole new pool since I couldn't get this one cleaned. This arrived within a couple of days and setup was maybe 5 min. It says to backwash your pump for 15 mins, but that's excessive for such a small pool. I backwashed and then rinsed for maybe five minutes total and hooked this up. It's so cool the way it rolls across the bottom! At first it moved around pretty nicely and it was picking stuff up! After awhile I noticed that it would just sit there, so I decided to check the screen and remove any debris. I was amazed at how much this thing picked up! I rinsed the screen and the bottom housing and put it back into the pool and it started zipping around again. I left it in all day yesterday and last night and went I went to look at the pool this morning, all of the gunk has been removed from the pool! I am so happy and even happier that I won't have to vacuum this pool ever again. Yes, this thing is that good.

I bought it this year so it's my first season. THIS IS the right "vacuum" for the soft sided Intex pools! Those critter things require a very strong pump that you don't usually need for your pool. It works well. I was really doubtful and then pleasantly surprised. I take it in and out of the pool all the time and I'd say it takes way less than 10 minutes to put in...probably closer to 5 min to take out and that is just because I'm meticulous about the hoses. I just leave it hooked up when we aren't using the pool and put the pump on a timer. NOTE: apparently people want to hook this up to the intake port or skimmer of the pool.I know that seems intuitive but it actually hooks up to the return port (where the water comes back into the pool). This works in your favor as the vacuum does not clog the intake strainer or skimmer basket. Once you hook it up on the correct side you will understand how it works.

When i first got this, I could not get it to work. So i went back and read over the reviews, it stated to make sure you hook up to the return line. I had been hooking to the inlet line. After hooking it up the correct way it worked perfect. When it slows down or quits moving, i take it out and clean the filter and also backwash the pump. Then it goes right back to moving. I also keep the skimmer on it helps to keep the bugs off the top of the water. It doesn't get as clean close to the edge, so i just sweep that part towards the center a little. It really saves a lot of my time, it was taking me 1 1/2 hours to vacuum the pool. Now I just turn this on at evening and let it run all night. I would definitely buy again.
