Although there are more cushiony benches with more adapters/functions, this bench is exactly what I needed for small rooms. This bench does all the basics without compromising space. Compared to the Reebok version with the traction bumps that I read in another review, the flat rubber grip is very comfortable to lay on. The angles are good for all dumbbell exercises that I use it for, and the top edge of the incline can also be used as an elbow rest (using another stool/chair) for preacher curls if needed. The greatest value is the compact design that takes up little space when used and when stowed. The rubber grip feet hug the floor with no movement/wobble when using. Very sturdy and rugged design that will hold up for years to come. I would definitely buy this again without hesitation.

We have a small home gym, so limited space. I really wanted to add a weight bench, but I also wanted a 2nd step so I could teach a friend some of the Reebok step moved. I had ordered a different weight bench but then came across this one. Wow, what an amazing idea & exactly what I needed! It is heavy but hey, that's a big plus as it doesn't slide around at all when you use it. I'm 5'9" and long-waisted so I sit tall. When the seat back is set in the #2 position, it's perfect for flys using dumbbells, my head is at the very top of the seat back, so great if you're 5'9" and under. (It's a big too small for my hubs who is over 6'...but I didn't get it for him anyways:-)

Set the bench flat and it's great to kneel on and do side lateral raises with a dumbbell. My workout partner and I could both sit back to back on the bench and do triceps dips at the same time...this bench easily supported both of us.

And bonus, when you lift the seat back, there's also a small storage space underneath...perfect for storing all my workout bands.

I can't say enough about how awesome this bench is! We were able to change up and add so much more to our home workout routine :-)

The green legs easily fold under for a lower profile for stepping.

I love this bench. It's quick to transition between move and just the right height for me (I'm 5'4") to use for step moves and not be too balanced challenged! It's not cushy - which I prefer so that it is more stable for stepping on and back down for several moves. I really love it and it's improved my workouts tremendously.

Honestly, this is an expensive bench. It took me a long time to decide to buy it. I was doing a workout program that needed a bench but could do some modifications with a stability ball. I've found that with the bench the workout is way more effective and actually easier! Again, it was a big investment in myself but I'm happy with this bench. It's not cushy since there is no padding but I use it to step up on in several moves so I needed one that was more stable for that kind of workout. I sit on it very little so I can deal with that in exchange for the stability for leg moves.

I really like this bench. I use it roughly 3 times a week. Earlier reviews mentioned it is a bit short, and I would agree. I am 5ft 9in and I have to sit just right if I am laying flat. Other than that though, love the bench. It has a variety of positions, and is sturdy in all of them. I have used it to do step ups, dumbbell bench press at 2 different angles, and at a seat to do curls. A lot of other at-home benches I considered didn't give the option to do the step up thing, and had less versatility.

I like the attention to detail for various heights, and how it can be a lower step up for the stuff my wife does, and the grooves to put resistance bands in is clutch.

As long as you are not too tall, this is a good at-home bench, and really good for the price. It is a bit hard on the back because it does allow you to do step ups, so I put a blanket down to soften that up.

This is the dream bench for home fitness studios. Don't settle for the less expensive ones because they are not as durable as the escape and definitely injury is not ok. These benches have outstanding stick with their rubber they lock in really well. Speed the extra $for the safety. It's a long term investment that will hold up. Im a 30 year veteran personal trainer and I was not going to get anything but safety and performance as #1.
