This is by far the best flea and tick deterrent I have used! And I have used them all! I have a 140lb Rottie and a 50lb lab mix and I used these for both. I get them in early spring and they last until fall. In fact when I took them off this year, after the first really cold weather, they were still keeping fleas and ticks away. We have used them twice so far and will get them again this spring. I have seen no irritation or adverse effects on either dogs. They are water proof as my pups swim a lot.The only thing is that my dogs play rough so I have to be sure they don't yank them off each other so we fasten them with a zip tie and that works well. They are plenty big enough for my big boy and I have to cut excess off so I am sure it will fit a large neck. I highly recommend these!!

We live out in the woods in northeast Connecticut. A place with more cows than people. And more ticks than cows.

We have tried every tick repellent on the planet for our furry children. From the ones sold at WalMart to the very expensive prescription stuff sold by veterinarians. Nothing worked until we got these collars. They made the problem go away.

These might cause irritation on your pup - they caused skin irritation on my daughter's Carolina Dog, who then gave the collar to us where it worked perfectly for 6 months until replaced. We have had no issues with our German Shepherd and Black Lab.

Better than Frontline or any other topical application. Not invasive. My doberman used to break out and get dry skin patches where I applied topical tick protection. This is exactly like the old fashioned flea/tick collars. This is the first complete season I have not found ticks on the dog, OR me (from ones that have jumped off the dog). Great product.

I was never a fan of flea and tick collars. Ever. The idea behind them leaves a lot to be desired. That being said, I have a mini daschund and was worried the active ingredients in this collar wouldn't make it to her long-ways away backside :) We have a VERY high tick infestation here in the woods of the Hudson Valley in New York this year and, so far, NO TICKS ON MY DOG! She's also tolerating it very well for such a small dog because it's so thin I don't even think she knows it's there (see picture). The reflectors enclosed with the collar didn't close or I didn't snap them on properly but it's ok. She has reflectors elsewhere. Upside too is that I don't have to replace this collar for 8 months! My only worry is that I'm gonna forget when I'm supposed to do that :)

These collars are fantastic. We live on 6 acres with our 4 big dogs so ticks can be a real problem in the summer. Since we started using the collars over 2 years ago, we haven’t had a single tick on any of our dogs. One dog has really sensitive skin so the topical flea and tick medicines often cause reactions but we’ve never had any problems with Seresto collars.

When I adjust the size on each dog, I make sure I can still get the collar over the dog’s head. We often need to wash them more than once a month (skunks, deer poop, dead animals — if there’s something stinky around, they’ll find it) and the directions recommend no more than one bath per month with the collar on. I was initially reluctant to try them because they’re so expensive but they really do last a long time so the cost per month isn’t that bad. The only time I ever had one last less than 8-10 months was when 2 of the dogs got sprayed by a skunk and nothing we tried would get the smell out of the collars so we had to throw them out and get new ones.
