I had foot surgery and was totally non weight bearing for 8 weeks. This scooter was a game changer. I was not stuck sitting in one spot with my foot up all day. I was able to be mobile using the scooter (I also had a walker and crutches but never needed to use them as this works perfectly). It never made me feel off balance, the brakes on both sides of the handlebars (instead of just on one side like some) is very useful in making me feel more secure. I was easily able to maneuver around my small house and in tight spots. It rolls flawlessly, on tile and wood floors and also outside on pavement. The seat and handlebars are adjustable to what was comfortable to me and the basket on the front is a very nice extra added touch. I fill my basket with my drink or snacks and off I go. The wider wheel base in the front adds for extra stability. I've never felt like I was going to fall or lean over.

Very solid and sturdy… However as with most products like this the turning radius is very wide. You must get used to going backwards and forwards and backwards and forwards to make your turns. That said, I am sure this is all for safety. I have never felt unstable or that I was going to tip over. The basket is an absolute must and love it. My dad put it together without using the instructions so it must be pretty easy. I am using it to recover from Bunion surgery on my right foot and will need it again for my left. This price is lower than most that I saw. I wouldn't pay anymore because this knee scooter has it all.

This is the only real choice for getting around when the doctor insists on zero pressure after surgery. Crutches and walkers offer no protection and frankly, both are exhausting for someone in their 60’s like me. I can scoot around on this with ease. I’m 6’-3” and 220 pounds and had no problem finding a comfortable setting.
The unit came in one day. Assembly was a breeze with clear illustrated instructions and no tools required. Parts are sturdy and assemble into a strong unit. The basket, unlike other brands, is not an open design. You could carry anything without worry about spills and the vinyl should clean easily.
Of course, the downside to this, or any scooter, is that stairs are out of the question. Only crutches offer that ability. Or, like me, scoot up or down on your butt and keep a walker at the other end!
In summary: A great product at a great price.

Second time in my life I’ve needed one of these. I sold the other since I never thought I’d need it again. I’m keeping this one. My other dod not have a basket and the wheels were more narrow. I’m really happy with this one and I wish I had ordered it sooner. It is very stable. The basket is great! (Last time I hung a bag on the front and it constantly swooshed) I used this in the office, it didn’t look out of place for a professional enviornment. We had our annual fire drill so I had to go across the last bit of the parking lot that had to be finished. It’s not an ‘offroad’ vehicle, but taking my time I was able to manuver just fine. If you have bad knees, consider adding some padding early on as you don’t realize how much pressure you will put on the knee. The ‘seat’ is not hard, its just not a typical position to be in for the leg. I like that it has a divit to help stabilize the leg position as well. The breaks are way more handy than you think. These little things can move.

After I broke my foot and was told to be NWB, a couple of weeks on crutches made my arms and upper body really sore. And standing for a few minutes at a time one was foot was very uncomfortable for my leg and hip. I finally gave in and searched for an affordable knee scooter, and this fit the bill. After having this scooter for about a week, I can attest to how helpful it has been for me. I am able to get around faster and with a lot more ease than with crutches. After the first day my knee was a bit sore, but I have adjusted and you can always order a knee pad. The basket is great, and I love being able to carry several items around (pretty impossible with crutches unless you wear a backpack). The scooter is stable and doesn't tip over easily. I was afraid at first to take it over somewhat rough terrain such as bricks, but it has proved stable so long as you are careful.
It was also easy for me to put together by myself, with no tools needed. It folds, and I had to look up a YouTube video to figure out how to work the mechanism for that, but once I figured it out it is very easy. It fits in my trunk and back seat with no issues. It is a bit heavy, but I have been able to manage it on my own just fine.
So far, I love this knee scooter that I picked and would recommend it!
