I am using this to help me move 4x8 sheets of plywood around by myself and this makes it much easier. It clamps on tight and doesn't leave any marks on the wood. A very solid tool that you won't need every day but when you do need it, it's super handy!

This was a gift for my father in law but actually got to use it after I gave it to him. A sheet of ¾ inch plywood isn't lightweight or managable, but this makes it that much easier. Great grip strength and held the plywood nice and sturdy

This thing is a great helper when moving sheet goods by yourself. For moving around the shop or picking up to place on a cutting table, this makes the task 10x easier. If you have a helper, it's not necessary, but working by yourself, it's worth the investment for sure. And, there's no reason to spend more money on a more expensive option, this one works great.

This tool works and helps me move drywall and plywood by myself. This panel carrier doesn't magically make the sheet goods any lighter or less awkward to move, but where I can't use my cart, it does make the job easier for me. I learned pretty quick that the gripper tool has to be very well centered on the panel, otherwise it is off balance and more difficult to control and carry. The plates that come into contact with the panels have a really gritty surface. The grit helps to hold the panels and prevent them from slipping out of the gripper, but if I wasn't super careful I ended up with scratches or gouges in my drywall. Because of the grit, I wouldn't recommend using this tool for moving metal panels or anything that has a finish coat that scratches easily, unless you put something like a rag or towel between the gripper plate and whatever you're carrying. Overall I am super happy with this panel carrier and recommend it to DIYers or anyone that works on projects solo and doesn't want to kill themselves moving sheet goods.

This is probably one of the most needed tools in my shop. I've always hated handling 3/4" sheets of plywood and especially MDF. this tool doesn't make it lighter but it definitely enables you to have a better position versus hand carrying. I will keep this tool close as it makes sheet goods so much easier to carry. Excellent and well built to boot. Highly recommend! BTW, a great gift as well.
